A reminder to put your foot down…

Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’” Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him. Matthew 4:10-11

Just a reminder that when we finally put our foot down and tell that stupid devil to get away from us, he LEAVES. And then, the best part, is that angels come and attend us.

I needed to read this and remind myself that Jesus paved the way for how we handle our enemy. Satan has been all OVER me the past few days. Stupid, stupid devil.

I have authority in the name of Jesus to overcome him. So do you.

If your enemy is snapping at your heals today… just remember to follow the footsteps of Jesus – “Away from me, Satan!’ and remind him who you worship. And who you serve.

He will leave you alone.

Now, let’s go and live in freedom on this beautiful Sabbath day.

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7
