A Week In Instagram

My week in the light of Instagram…

Yep. That would be my van. A big ol’ metal rod found its way into my tire. Not a nail. Or a piece of glass. A big metal rod. What in the world?

Pleasantly, I was stranded at a dear friend’s house, where we were allowed an extra 30 minutes while waiting on Jack Rabbit Roadside Assistance. I am thankful for handy fella. My roadside rescue.

This week was war. We have been under such spiritual attack that I have carried my Sword everywhere. Grocery store. Gym. Baseball field. The battle was on. Jesus won.

I am so hungry for a fresh WORD from the Lord that I keep a pen and pad on me. He speaks at the most random times, doesn’t He? Like on the treadmill… mid-stride. I want to be ready… just in case.

And this just makes me happy. My new pillow. I sent my rock star husband to IKEA for the first time in Orlando (while I was bathing the boys’ room in Sunless Tanner, remember!?) What a man! I love my husband. And my pillow.

Also, I am going to be a bit off the blogsphere this week. I have a speaking engagement this Friday at a church in K-Town. If you are in the area, COME! How fun would that be!?

If you think of it, I’d appreciate your prayers for an OUTPOURING of God’s Spirit on this event… Lord, bring healing, restoration and great empowerment to these amazing women! I am asking for souls to be saved! And chains to be broken! Hallelujah! God is so GOOD. I can’t wait!

Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. Take…the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. Keep alert…pray for me that words may be given to me in opening my mouth bodily to proclaim the mystery of the gospel…that I may declare it bodily, as I ought to speak. Ephesians 6:11,17-20
