November Gratitude…. Seek The Kingdom

above all else.

Live righteously.

And He will give you everything you need. Matthew 6:33

The words of Matthew pierce my heart as we sit dangling our feet off the edge of this last October day, looking over the rushing water of the Holiday season. Knowing the fast paced water of the next two months are begging us jump, I read these words written in Chapter 6 verse 33 and realize that I must do so mindfully.

But how? How do we launch our lives into the consumer season without being consumed?

How do we “see the Kingdom about all else” when every November 1st “Black Friday Sale” pulls our chin ever so slightly away?

How do we “live righteously” and make our ambition JESUS in the most wonderful time of the year?

A holiday season that began about the coming of Christ and now we see is anything but?

Simple.

But not….

PRAISE.

Yes. It is really that easy but it will take you – and me – deciding now before we jump to make this Holiday as simple as praise.

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. Acknowledge that the Lord is God. He made us, and we are His. We are his people, the sheep of hs pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise his name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues to each generation. Psalm 100

I invite you to join me the next 30 days on a ruthless journey to make thanksgiving and praise the core focus of our holiday season. If we really want this Christmas to be the most meaningful yet, then I plead you to see this month of Thanksgiving as the key that opens the gate.

Because it is.

I invite you to a Revelation Wellness inspired wellness program that will encompass fitness, Scripture memory, journaling, and discipleship for a refreshing start to your holiday season. Spaces are still available and all fitness levels are welcome.

Cost is $40 to join and the content is yours to keep.

This is a new approach to the promise of Psalm 100…. We will enter His gates with thanksgiving and worship with gladness, one verse, one breath and one movement at a time.
