Day Three. Before You Go…

Immeasurably More.

What a concept, right?  I mean, we understand “measurements”. I know how to measure a cup of water or rice. I understand how to weigh flour on a scale. I can use a ruler or a measuring tape for inches and feet.

But immeasurably more? This is what God says He wants to do for you!?

Whoa. That. Is. Something. Else.

Dwell on this with me…. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:20

I know you have heard this verse before…. But read it again.

In light of all we are praying for your future…. God is able to do immeasurably more than that.

There is no measuring cup or scale that can weigh what is possible for you IN CHRIST JESUS.  And this immeasurable power is not a something “out there” that we can only see from a distance. Nope. He puts this IMMEASURABLE (no scale, cups or tape) POWER INSIDE OF YOU.

What?  Let this blow your mind.

Before you go, please know this… God doesn’t want to just bless you. He wants to bless you to overflow. Unfathomable, immeasurable, abundant power and favor.  Keep trusting Him with hands wide open. No white knuckles.

This encourages me so much for you. SO MUCH.  Let this Scripture be a stake in the ground. A Truth for your future. Even if you can’t see blessing or you feel as if “nothing is happening”…. Go back to this scripture. He is doing MORE than you can imagine.  It is a promise. IT IS YOUR PROMISE. Just somedays this “immeasurably more” is behind the scenes. Don’t get discouraged. His power is always at work.

Lord, thank you for being so trustworthy. You are the God who delights in lavishing your children with love, favor and blessing. This scripture is such a picture of Your abundance towards us. Help me remember today that when I feel defeated or weak, You give me access to YOUR power at work within me. Thank you for that. And thank you for not being a God that I can measure. I love that. This gives me so much hope and excitement. Today, I walk with hands open wide to receive your goodness. In Jesus Name. Amen.
