With great intention this holiday season I resolve to CHOSE LIFE. To chose HIS VOICE. To chose holding fast to HIM.

To chose “being” verses “doing”.

It is HARD, y’all. There is SO. MUCH. TO. DO. There is so much to BUY. So many places to GO.

But… if it doesn’t bring LIFE — if it doesn’t draw us closer to HIM then I chose to not to do it.

My boys are getting bigger and I know that one day I will look back on these years with longing and tears of sweet memories and joy. I want to remember myself being IN THE MOMENT, too. This means less social media. Less email. Less phone calls. Less hustle and bustle. Being home more. It means more of God’s Word at our table and hot cocoa in our cups. It means embracing Emmanuel with us – enjoying the Presence of God in our homes.

Oh sweet friends, I invite you to join me on this journey of choosing LIFE and BLESSING. Loving the Lord…. Listening to His Voice…. Clinging to Him. Whatever that looks like for your family! How exciting to embrace the PEACE, LOVE and JOY His brings! Mmmm! These aren’t just words on Christmas cards!  These are PROMISES to God’s people.  Stir that Truth in your cocoa today!
