Jesus & Joe {Back to School Prayers}

Jesus & Joe: A Coffee Devotional

Father God, honor the prayers I pray today on behalf of my children returning back to school this week.  I pray these words according to your Holy Word…

I pray that _________ will be strong and courageous!  I pray ________ will not be afraid or discouraged, for you Lord will personally go ahead of them.  Thank you that you are with them, you neither fail nor abandon them.  Deuteronomy 31:7-8

I pray that since you, Lord, are faithful, You will establish my child and guard him/her from the evil one.  2 Thessalonians 3:3

I pray, Jesus, that _________ knows that Your grace is sufficient for him/her.  That your strength is made perfect in weakness.  2 Corinthians 12:9

I pray that your kindness, Lord, would not depart from _____________, nor would your covenant of peace be removed from him/her.  Isaiah 54:10

I pray that you, Lord Jesus,  would increase ___________’s faith.  Luke 17:5

I pray that you will strengthen my child today, according to your Word.  Psalm 119:28

Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon ____________ today.  Establish the work of his/her hands, yes, establish the work of his/her hands.  Psalm 90:17

And like Jesus, I pray this school year that _________ would increase in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.  Luke 2:52

{And mom or dad today, I pray over you (and myself) that we would be anxious for nothing, but that in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, we will make our requests known to God on this first day of school.  And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus!!   Philippians 4:6-7 – Love you all, today.  And everyday.}
