There is nothing better for a person than that he should eat and drink and find enjoyment in his labor. This also, I saw, is from the hand of God. Ecc. 2:24
Just a quick note today to not take this life too seriously. Let us all embrace a little more of the mindset of my five-year-old, Luke. Who cries when it is time to change out of pajamas. Who believes that he can do ANYTHING he sets his mind to do. Who loves bacon and bread and… bacon.
And believes the Bible with every fiber of his little being.
Enjoy this day that the Lord has made. Play hard. Pray hard. Eat something delicious. Give a big hug to someone you love. Wear something fun and extremely comfortable. And enjoy your labor. Even brushing your teeth.
{Dress like Indiana Jones if you so choose.}
Be anxious for nothing. Pray about everything.
I mean everything. Even if it seems silly, it isn’t silly. The Lord cares for your every nook and cranny.
Today take heed to the wisdom of Solomon… Eat. Drink. And enjoy your labor.
And remember Luke, too. The boy who stresses over nothing!
