So very sorry about the birds chirping around here.

I have been heart deep in writing material for a MOPS event this coming Friday morning. A local church here in K-town has invited me to speak and I am so excited!

Hot Mess: Finding The Me In Mommy

Well if you have birthed a baby then I am guessing I’ve got a witness up in here. Yes. How on earth do we find the “me” in mommy in the thick of babydom? How do we find solitude when God dropped us in a season of selfless servanthood?

We will look to Jesus, the Author and Perfect of our faith (and our parenting) in the meat of this talk.

Did I mention how excited I am!?

So I will “long for you with the affections of Christ Jesus” (Phil. 1:8) until next week… when I can get my blogging brain back in working order.

Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count other more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interest, but also to the intersts of others. HAVE THIS MIND among yourselves, WHICH IS YOURS in Christ Jesus, who though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with GOd a thing to be grasped, but made Himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.
