Open my eyes that I may behold wondrous things out of Your law. Psalm 119:18
As we are studying Psalm 119, I thought I would share what the Lord showed me today…
The Hebrew word for open is galah. Picture this with me as you read through its definition. You will absolutely love it…
Galah: to make known. to show. to disclose. to be naked. to make bare. to uncover anyone’s ear by taking back the hair, as done by one about to disclose a secret thing.
My heart is doing backflips!
The God who created the Heavens has a SECRET to tell you. He wants to pull back the hair from your ear and whisper undisclosed things in your heart. Secrets that are only available to those who seek diligently in His Word.
Isn’t that beautiful?
He wants to OPEN YOUR EYES SO YOU MAY BEHOLD WONDROUS THINGS FROM HIS LAW (v.18).
The effort of delving into Scripture is worth it.
Kudos to you today, sweet friend. Your reward is unmeasurable.
Be Blessed,
Becky

That is the verse that stuck out to me today! I pondered it a little, but I didn’t look into the meaning for the word open. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing! 🙂
Isn’t that so pretty!?
Becky, I’m reading this book right now called “Sacred Rhythms” by Ruth Haley Barton and the Lord keeps whispering your name in my ear as I read this book. So, I finally said…”Okay Lord, I’ll let her know.” I enjoy your posts – thank you for your ministry. Love and peace, Brocki Murphy
