Today is more than a Lunch Sack Seed to me. Today is a heart-felt CRY unto the LORD for my boys!
I was a broken record this weekend. As much as I loved the long holiday weekend, more time off means more time together which means MORE TIME FOR MY BOYS TO FIGHT LIKE DOGS.
Anybody with me? Anybody?
I instructed my boys by this verse everywhere imaginable. Standing in the living room. At the kitchen table. Hanging clothes in their bedrooms. In the van ride up to the mountains.
Over and over. My prayer. Their charge.
The conversations went a little something like this…
“Boys, Jesus says that Christians will be known by our LOVE. The way you’ve been acting you look no different from the world. Let’s try that again. Loving each other this time.”
So I add this not only to their lunch sack today, but to my growing list of Scriptures to pray over my boys.
LORD, LET THEM LOVE LIKE YOU! Let them be known by their LOVE. Their LOVE for you. And their LOVE for others. Thank you, Jesus. AMEN.

I pray your holiday weekend was worshipful and full of Jesus. I don’t know about you, but I am ready for Christmas! Our tree is as gaudy and retro as ever. I need to put up a picture. I will later this week.
