I want to put a seed in your lunch sack today! How fun!

I am thankful today for a short school week! The boys are so excited about all that is in store for them….family, football, food, friends! (I’m so excited, too!)
I thankful for seeing loved ones we have not seen in 2 years and a road trip with my little family.
I am super excited about being with family in Upstate NY this week and spending time with precious family and friends in person (we haven’t been “home” for 2 years)
I’m so excited about my 4 month old daughter’s 1st Thanksgiving! We are hosting my husband’s family, and smoking our Turkey. Excited about a memorable time together!
I am thankful for extra family time this week!
I am thankful the donor providing a coat for every student in my inner city memphis school!
Amen to the short school week! Knowing that sure made it easier for me to get out of my warm, comfy bed this morning.
I mean those words from Philemon right back to you, Becky, and if I could pack you a lunch it would have a little note that says “She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.” (Proberbs 31:26) I would probably include a little thermos of coffee, too. 😉

I am thankful for a wonderful mother-in-law who is so excited to cook Thanksgiving dinner! She has been a missionary to South America for over 25 years and missed lots of turkey dinners with family. She loves my girls and lets them help her cook in the kitchen, even though it makes twice the mess.

I’m just kinda getting that ‘holiday’ feeling. Excited about having my hubby off work for 5 days, for having all grandparents in the same place for Thanksgiving, and watching Mandy’s eyes bug out when she sees the Thanksgiving feast (so many firsts for her!). Happy Thanksgiving!
