A Scripture That Rocks Your World

Ahh, good morning! I just spent an hour watching YouTubes of Francis Chan speaking on simplifying and sanctification.

Feeling the need to move out to the middle of nowhere.  With my Bible.  And my boys.  And Brent.  And my favorite coffee cup.

But for today I will move towards balance instead.  Balance.  My word of the day.

Also the word of the day is winner.

We have a WINNER!!

First, thanks to all who signed up for this blog via email. I am tickled pink about it, really.  Coming from the girl who always opts out of the “would you like to receive additional emails” option, I am truly thankful.

So honored and humbled.

Let’s pursue Jesus like crazy people, shall we?

And in the meanwhile, I will send Betsy Gibson a book.  Two books actually!  Congrats, Betsy!  You are the winner (random.org says so)!

Go on and have one more coffee. Why  not?  It’s Friday!

But before you go, leave a comment telling a Scripture that is absolutely rocking your world right now.

We want to be rocked, too.

Here’s mine….

The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working}” (James 5:16, AMP).

Think about it. Prayer makes tremendous power available to you.

That rocks my world.  Take God up on His promise, today.

And may your cup overflow.

7 Where can I go from your Spirit?
    Where can I flee from your presence?8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,10 even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
